[Exclusive] Check Out the Cover Art for Issue #3 of the ‘Maniac’ Comic Book Series from Eibon Press

Published

on

Thus far, Eibon Press has released the first two (of three) issues of their insanely gory comic book series based on William Lustig’s Maniac, with the third and final issue headed our way later this year. But we wanted to give you guys a sneak preview today, since it’s Halloween and all, and the fine folks over at Eibon Press were cool enough to hook us up!

Below you’ll find the exclusive cover reveal for Issue #3, which will be available through Eibon Press on December 7th. As always, you can only grab it through Eibon’s online shop.

Issue #3 will feature the climax of the movie adaptation, when Frank Zito finally confronts his darkest demons, and his one true love Anna D’Antoni discovers his true face. The issue offers some intriguing new sequences only hinted at in the film, including a shocking sub-plot regarding the character played by director William Lustig!”

Writer Stephen Romano explains, “Well, I was always intrigued by the sleazy hotel clerk Bill plays in the film, and I always wondered how Frank got away with murdering that hooker in his room, without anyone catching on. Well, our fans already know that the hotel manager not only discovered that body, but even helped Frank to get rid of it in issue one! But that wasn’t the end of that, people. Not by a long shot. It all comes back on Frank in issue number three! And, believe it or not, this even ties in with the final chapter of the MANIAC VS. NEW YORK RIPPER battle. Also, I promise that the second round of that battle contains one of the most gruesome, disturbing things you will ever see in a comic book. We mean that.

Maniac #3 is a 52 page double issue. Be there 10/7 to grab one of the limited signature editions with a VHS box or one of the super limited variant cover Psycho Fan packages!

Writer in the horror community since 2008. Editor in Chief of Bloody Disgusting. Owns Eli Roth's prop corpse from Piranha 3D. Has two awesome cats. Still plays with toys.
