Celebrating its 35th Anniversary this year, RLJE Films will release Children of the Corn on DVD/BD SteelBook on June 4, 2019.
In Children of the Corn, a young couple find themselves stranded in the rural town of Gatlin, Neb., where they encounter a mysterious religious sect of children. But nowhere in town are there any adults. The horror grows to a bloodcurdling climax as the two new visitors learn the horrifying secret behind the prospering cornfields.
Based on a classic story by Stephen King, the film was directed by Fritz Kiersch (Turf Turf), and the screenplay was written by George Goldsmith (Nowhere to Hide). The film stars Linda Hamilton (Terminator franchise), Peter Horton (“Thirtysomething”) and Cortney Gains (Back to the Future).

Odeya Rush (Goosebumps) fights her way through an eclectic cast that includes Sasha Lane (Twisters), Elias Kacavas (“Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin”), Ashton Sanders (Moonlight), Zión Moreno (“Gossip Girl”), Benjamin Norris (“Never Have I Ever”), Tyler Alvarez (“American Vandal”), Kirby Johnson (The Possession of Hannah Grace), Ellen Toland, Rosanna Arquette (Pulp Fiction), and Alan Ruck (Ferris Bueller’s Day Off).
Aaron Fisher (Inside the Rain) directs from a script he co-wrote with Kerri Lee Romeo. Uri Singer (White Noise, Experimenter) produces via Passage Pictures.
Gary J. Tunnicliffe (Scream 4, Candyman) handled the film’s special makeup effects.
