Hey Los Angeles, See NEON’s ‘It Lives Inside’ For FREE This Saturday!
Hyped horror movie It Lives Inside is coming to theaters on September 22 and Bloody Disgusting is excited to give away FREE tickets to see NEON’s latest horror film early with filmmaker Bishal Dutta in attendance!
The screening takes place this Saturday at the Los Feliz 3 at 7 PM. Post-screening will be a Q&A with Bishal and Bloody Disgusting’s The Boo Crew Podcast, which will be recorded and posted timed to the film’s release.

In It Lives Inside, “Sam is desperate to fit in at school, rejecting her Indian culture and family to be like everyone else. When a mythological demonic spirit latches onto her former best friend, she must come to terms with her heritage in order to defeat it.”
The initial inspiration for the film emerged from the filmmaker’s own childhood experience of being born in India before emigrating to be raised in America. The story draws heavily on both Indian demonic legend and a very personal family story from Dutta’s grandfather. The original screenplay was penned by Dutta based on a story by Dutta and Ashish Mehta.
