The Walking Dead brand has been going strong for well over a decade. Since its Halloween debut in 2010, the franchise has expanded its proverbial walls with half a dozen spinoffs: Fear the Walking Dead, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, Tales of the Walking Dead, The Walking Dead: Dead City, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, and next year’s highly-anticipated reunion with Rick Grimes and Michonne in The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live.
It’s quite a cinematic universe — on par with the Marvels and DCs out there — but it all goes back to Frank Darabont’s original series, which signed off last November. To commemorate that epic 12-year run, Lionsgate has released a beautiful new set dubbed The Walking Dead: The Complete Collection on DVD and Blu-Ray. Spanning 54 discs, the collection includes all 11 seasons, in addition to a 42-minute documentary and new artwork by Oliver Barrett.
