The Blair Witch Project
“The Blair Witch Project” as a film itself is very disturbing and frightening, but what really made this truly scary was the hype that led up to its release. Rather than just put out a scary movie, the production company did everything they could to put out what they wanted the public to think was a REAL documentary. At the time of the movie’s release, stories were flying around about what was real and fake. The immersive experience is what made “The Blair Witch Project” so frightening.
