Gertrude Baniszewski – An American Crime
A severely underrated film, An American Crime’s Gertrude Baniszewski is an absolutely horrifying character to watch. Not only is she based (fairly accurately) on a real person, the tortures she inflicts on Ellen Page’s Sylvia are difficult to watch even for the most jaded horror fan (just watch that Coke bottle scene).
