Some of the best horror movies are the ones that meld themselves with the sci-fi genre, creating a terrifying film that is, quite literally, out of this world. Think of the Alien series, Fire In The Sky, or The X-Files. These films expertly blend the terror of horror with the fascination of science fiction to create something ultimately unique and highly niche.
While watching these movies as a child, I often found myself wondering what kind of alien I’d be were I to invade planet Earth. C’mon, don’t knock it, alright? This was my childhood imagination hard at work. But getting back to the point, I found a quiz that asked this same question and I wanted to share it with you! I got “E.T.”, which reads:
Phone home and tell all your friends that you’re the inspiration behind (in our opinion) Steven Spielberg’s greatest film, E.T. You may not be much of a talker, but everyone around you knows how lovable you are. Plus, who can doubt someone with an impeccable taste in candy? We all love you. . . and Reese Pieces.
I’m not thrilled with this result because, and I know I might get killed for this, I absolutely HATE E.T.. Always have, always will. It just leaves a really bad taste in my mouth.
