Rosamund Pike
The Academy Award nominated Rosamund Pike would be a bold choice. Thanks to Gone Girl we know she’s capable of going dark, very dark, and doing so with a touch of humor. That’s very important if you’re going to portray Krueger. You have to be scary, but also be capable of making the audience laugh here and there. Pike would be a swing for the fences, but when you’re remaking a beloved character you have no choice but to go all in.
