Everything In The Mist
These monsters may be very well belong in a B-movie, but Frank Darabont (and Stephen King, of course) did a bang-up job of depicting them in a realistic, horrifying way in the film adaptation of The Mist. My personal favorite is the flying scorpion bug, but those spiders with acid webs are the stuff nightmares are really made of.
