2. Heather Langenkamp
I really wish Langenkamp had been in more horror movies, but she earns her place on this list for facing Freddy Krueger three times! Her Nancy showed that not all female characters in horror movies had to be damsels in distress. Nancy took initiative and got shit done. Her death in NOES 3 still shocks me to this day. I still feel like a kid when I watch that one, hoping against all odds that the movie will take a different turn and Nancy will survive through the credits.
