With all the Star Wars love going around this week, we’re actually going to focus on a different sci-fi franchise with this post. For this edition of Twisted Music Video of the Week, we’ve got Snow Ghosts and their track “The Hunted”, which was used in the trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse.
The video, which was directed by Craig Murray, shows a seemingly Scottish warrior (blue paint a lá Braveheart?) who is attacking a young woman, his actions bordering on sexual assault (which, considering the fact that she’s naked, doesn’t seem out of the realm of intent). She manages to break free and runs through the forest, ultimately stopping at a shrine of some sort. What happens next is for you to see…
The video is beautifully filmed, looking completely professional and utilizing texture, slow motion, and a fantastic location to really draw out the aggression and danger of the story. Check it out below!
