Horns
Alexandre Aja takes a different approach to horror with his adaptation of Joe Hill’s (aka Stephen King’s son) horror romance novel in which a young man (Daniel Radcliffe) wakes up one morning with horns growing out of his head that compel people in his vicinity to confess their deepest, darkest sins and desires. He uses their power to attempt to solve the murder of his girlfriend (Juno Temple). Horns is a quirky little movie (it blends the horror, drama, comedy and romance genres) that is probably the best adaptation the novel could have received, and its got a lot of heart to boot!
