These 8 Horror-Themed Cakes are Incredible!

The Nightmare Before Christmas

If you love The Nightmare Before Christmas and happen to live in Los Angeles, make an appointment with Charm City Cakes post haste! This lovely homage to the Tim Burton-produced film highlights Sally and Jack in front of a fondant full moon.

A Nightmare On Elm Street

Full disclosure: I only picked this because I dressed my dog up as Freddy Krueger for Halloween in 2015 and it was the cutest thing ever. He didn’t have this cakes bomb-ass makeup effects though. England’s Little Cherry Cake Company somehow managed to turn Robert Englund’s terrifying dream killer into this adorable drooling pup cake! It’s almost too cute to eat!

Beetlejuice

A cake that would make Delia Deetz herself extremely proud! The best part of this cake other than the warped mantle topper is the addition of Delia’s horrendous sculptures around the base.

Bloody Cake

Initially this would appear to be another homage to A Nightmare on Elm Street (those claw marks are just that iconic), but upon closer inspection it seems that it’s just your standard zombie wedding cake (look at the topper).. Still, it’s a pretty impressive design that probably had many wedding guests doing double-takes.
