As promised on Wednesday, today we’re bringing you the exclusive album stream for Primitives from Indiana progressive metal band The Room Colored Charlatan. The album, which comes out on Tuesday via Subliminal Groove Records, features seven tracks of vicious metal that integrates loads of technicality and melody. We’re excited to bring you this premiere, so head on below to give your weekend a brutal start!

We have spent years honing our sound and we feel as though Primitives is the culmination of years of developing as a group. For us it is the defining sound for ourselves as a band and also artistically conveys our philosophical message. We enjoyed making this record tremendously, and have been fortunate enough to have one of those rare artistic achievements in which there is nothing that we feel we neglected, or we would change. We hope people are able to enjoy it as much as we do, because the goal from the beginning was always to create a unique and authentic experience which in many instances in lacking in modern music.

‘Mind Body Spirit’ Exclusive Trailer – Get Twisted with Found Footage Yoga Horror Movie in May
A yoga influencer discovers just how flexible fear can be in Mind Body Spirit, a new found footage horror movie that Welcome Villain Films is bringing to the table in a couple weeks.
Mind Body Spirit will release on Digital outlets May 7.

In Mind Body Spirit, “Anya, an aspiring yoga influencer, embarks on a ritual practice left behind by her estranged grandmother. She documents the practice on her YouTube channel for the world to watch, allowing her audience intimate access to her journey.
“But what starts as a spiritual self-help guide evolves into something much more sinister. As Anya becomes obsessed with the mysterious power of the practice, she unwittingly unleashes an otherworldly entity that begins to take control of her life – and her videos. Now Anya must race to unlock the truth, before her descent into madness threatens to consume her mind, body and spirit. By the time she reveals the true nature of the ritual, will it be too late?”
Mind Body Spirit was written and directed by Alex Henes & Matthew Merenda.
The upcoming horror film stars Sarah J. Bartholomew, Madi Bready, KJ Flahive, Anna Knigge, and Kristi Noory, and was produced by Dan Asma and Jesse McClung.
