“It was a little over four years ago, the genesis of The Demon’s Rook,” said James Sizemore, director of The Demon’s Rook. “In January of 2013, shooting concluded, and we were ready for film festival submissions by the springtime. Two years since the birth of my firstborn beast, and we’re now finally ready to pass the placenta into this pretty plastic case. I couldn’t be happier.
“I wanted to make sure we marked this event with something celebratory. Something that hardcore fans could hold on to. I had been talking with my friend Aaron Crawford (the brilliant maniac behind CavityColors) for quite some time about collaborating on a limited edition shirt for the movie. I just thought what better time than now to have something like that made for the fans. He really nailed it with the design. Captured the spirit of the movie perfectly. We’re releasing the shirt online two days after the DVD release.”
