Inspired by the “four G’s” – Ghostbusters, Goonies, [Michael] Gondry and [Terry] Gilliam – director Bill Watterson took his directorial debut, Dave Made a Maze, to the Slamdance Film Festival.
The film, in which Dave builds a fort in his living room and ends up trapped inside by fantastical pitfalls, booby traps and creatures, already had its world premiere to a rash of strong buzz.
