Included in the LA Film Festival’s Nightfall category is Sam Patton’s Desolation, starring Jaimi Paige, Alyshia Ochse, Claude Duhamel, and Toby Nichols.
Set to world premiere, Desolation sounds like it has a Deliverance vibe, beginning with a trip into the remote wilderness to scatter her late husband’s ashes, a mother, her son and her best friend must confront their deepest fears when a lone hiker begins following them.
The LA Film Festival takes place June 14 – June 22, 2017, headquartered at ArcLight Cinemas Culver City, with additional screenings at ArcLight Hollywood, ArcLight Santa Monica and more.
