Al Pacino has been doing this whole acting thing for a while, creating some of the most iconic characters in the history of cinema. While not everyone choice or decision he’s made over the years it’s hard to argue that he isn’t always attempting to do something interesting. In Pacino’s latest venture, Hangman, he plays a homicide detective on the hunt for a ruthless serial killer.
The film hit Blu-ray last week and comes with two special features — “Al Pacino: Insight from a Hollywood Legend” and “Hangman: In Their Own Words”. In the features, Pacino talks about his love for acting and why he still does it after all these years. Below is an exclusive look at Pacino, in his own words, telling us why he loves doing what he does.
In the film, “Decorated homicide detective Ray Archer (Al Pacino) partners with criminal profiler Will Ruiney (Karl Urban) to catch one of the city’s notoriously vicious serial killers, who is playing a twisted version of the child’s game hangman, while journalist Christi Davies (Brittany Snow) reports on the crime spree, shadowing the detectives.”
