[Trailer] The Rabbit Hole of High Strangeness Gets Deeper and Weirder in “Hellier” Season 2

Published

on

This November, Planet Weird is headed back to “Hellier” for the second season of their paranormal documentary series, a five-part experience that had set out to uncover the true story behind the alleged “Kentucky Goblins” that first popped up back in the 1950s. But that was only the beginning of the mystery, as the series tracked a wildly unexpected investigation into impossible synchronicities and a web of high strangeness stretching from the heart of Appalachian coal country. The team takes you further down the rabbit hole on November 29.

The second season picks up 14 months after the first season’s cliffhanger…

“Following a frightening new lead into the mysterious paranormal activity hiding in the shadows of the Appalachian Mountains, researchers Greg and Dana Newkirk, along with Connor Randall, Karl Pfeiffer, and Tyler Strand, find themselves further down the rabbit hole of High Strangeness than ever before. From chasing modern-day sightings of supernatural entities like Indrid Cold and the Mothman to venturing directly into the underground mazes of the Mammoth Cave System and attempting dangerous parapsychological experiments with disturbing results, season two of HELLIER follows every thread to get to the heart of the Phenomena behind the elusive David Christie and the cryptic Terry Wriste.”

Exclusively here on Bloody Disgusting, watch the official season 2 trailer below!

From the very beginning, we’ve said that HELLIER was just a prologue to a bigger story,” Greg Newkirk tells us, “and the new season is bigger, stranger, and more unnerving in every way. Huge questions from season one are answered, the scope of the investigation is significantly expanded, and with the addition of a caving expert to the team, we go further underground in search of the Phenomena than we’ve ever been. Season two is going to shock people.”

The new season of “Hellier” streams exclusively on Amazon Prime on Black Friday, November 29th, and releases – absolutely free – on YouTube & Vimeo on Friday, December 13th.

The entire first season is available to stream now at hellier.tv.
