Chilling ‘The Dark and the Wicked’ Clip: Something Evil Creeps Into a Barn [Exclusive]
Bloody Disgusting is excited to share an exclusive clip from Bryan Bertino‘s (The Strangers, The Monster) new horror film The Dark and the Wicked, which is easily one of the best horror films of the year.
The satanic horror takes place on a secluded farm in a nondescript rural town where a man is slowly dying. His family gathers to mourn, and soon a darkness grows, marked by waking nightmares and a growing sense that something evil is taking over the family.
Meagan Navarro reviewed the film for BD, giving it high praise and one of the best scores of the year: “The Dark and the Wicked is a chilling descent into nihilistic evil,” she wrote.
RLJE Films will release the film In Theaters, On Digital and On Demand November 6, 2020.

Jennifer E. Montgomery makes her feature directorial debut from a script she co-wrote with director of photography Andrew Davis, inspired by Montgomery’s first-hand experience with tragedy involving her best friend.
“Months before the incident, there were signals that her world was unraveling,” says Montgomery. “I could feel the pressure building, though I didn’t know what form it would take. I never could have known what violence would come, and I certainly never imagined making a film about it.”
Austin Stowell (“NCIS: Origins”), Suraj Sharma (Happy Death Day 2U), Mojean Aria (Reminiscence), Amol Shah (“For All Mankind”), and Zenobia Shroff (“Ms. Marvel”) round out the cast.
Smoke Jumper Films and Mango Monster Productions produce in association with Catchlight Studios (Heretic, The Blackening).
