Claustrophobic ‘The Deep House’ Clip Swims Through Murky Waters to a Shocking Discovery! [Exclusive]

Halloween might be over by EPIX is keeping the partying going with their claustrophobic and haunting aquatic horror, The Deep House, which hails from French filmmaking duo Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo, best known for their ultra-violent Inside, Livide, and Leatherface.

Bloody Disgusting has an exclusive clip from the film in which a couple of divers discover a haunting in the bottom of a lake. The footage swims through murky waters and uncovers a bunch of tapes and then… a chained-up body floating in the depths of the home. 

The Deep House is shot almost entirely underwater and follows an influencer couple (James Jagger and Camille Rowe) who go diving in a remote French lake only to discover a fully submerged haunted house.

Deep below the surface of a seemingly tranquil remote lake lies a perfectly preserved family home. When a young influencer couple sets out to explore the submerged house to capture uncharted content for their social media followers, their dive turns into a nightmare as they discover a sinister presence. With limited oxygen supply and time running against them, the couple must find a way to escape the underwater house of horrors before it’s too late.”

The Deep House will premiere on EPIX on November 5 and will also be available for digital purchase from Paramount Home Entertainment.

‘Dancing Village: The Curse Begins’ – Exclusive Clip and Images Begin a Gruesome Indonesian Nightmare

Indonesian filmmaker Kimo Stamboel (MacabreHeadshot, The Queen of Black Magic) is back in the director’s chair for MD Pictures’ Badarawuhi Di Desa Penari (aka Dancing Village: The Curse Begins), a prequel to the Indonesian box office hit KKN Curse Of The Dancing Village. Lionsgate brings the film to U.S. theaters on April 26.

In the horror prequel, “A shaman instructs Mila to return a mystical bracelet, the Kawaturih, to the ‘Dancing Village,’ a remote site on the easternmost tip of Java Island. Joined by her cousin, Yuda, and his friends Jito and Arya, Mila arrives on the island only to discover that the village elder has passed away, and that the new guardian, Mbah Buyut, isn’t present.

“Various strange and eerie events occur while awaiting Mbah Buyut’s return, including Mila being visited by Badarawuhi, a mysterious, mythical being who rules the village. When she decides to return the Kawaturih without the help of Mgah Buyut, Mila threatens the village’s safety, and she must join a ritual to select the new ‘Dawuh,’ a cursed soul forced to dance for the rest of her life.”
