One year after Evil Dead Rise arrived in theaters, new franchise heroine Lily Sullivan is back here in early 2024 with the brand new horror movie Monolith from Well Go USA.

Well Go will release Monolith in theaters and on Digital February 16, 2024.

While you wait, check out an exclusive clip from the upcoming movie below. Sullivan’s character receives an ominous warning in this first-look clip: “something awful is coming.”

The film had its international premiere at the 2023 SXSW Film Festival in the Midnighters section to rave reviews. Watch the official trailer below, which is loaded with those raves.

Matt Vesely directed Monolith, written by Lucy Campbell.

In the upcoming horror movie, “While trying to salvage her career, a disgraced journalist begins investigating a strange conspiracy theory. But as the trail leads uncomfortably close to home, she is left to grapple with the lies at the heart of her own story.”

Monolith is a bold, unnerving and claustrophobic film with one actor and shot in one location. The film explores questions of truth, privilege, conspiracy, and the fact that each of us sees what we want to see – and believes what we want to believe. Truth is no longer the great monolith that underpins the world – power is. Truth is power, but only for those with the voice to tell it. Does the truth hold any intrinsic value in a world so easily manipulated?”

Writer in the horror community since 2008. Editor in Chief of Bloody Disgusting. Owns Eli Roth's prop corpse from Piranha 3D. Has four awesome cats. Still plays with toys.
