Scream 7 is available to watch at home on Digital today, and we’re celebrating with an exclusive preview of the making-of featurette Scar Tissue below.
The clip features writer-director Kevin Williamson and stars Neve Campbell and Isabel May discussing the dynamic between Sidney Prescott and her daughter, Tatum.
“The thing that makes this movie so special for me is that Neve Campbell has come back in a big way,” Williamson explains. “In Part 5, she was part of someone else’s story, and I think in this movie it’s really about Sidney Prescott.”
He continues, “What would happen if she had a daughter that was exactly the same age as she was when this all started in 1996? And by keeping the past from her daughter, she’s made her daughter vulnerable to what could come knocking.”
The latest — and highest grossing — installment in the slasher saga will be released on Steelbook, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on June 16 via Paramount.

May, Joel McHale, Mckenna Grace, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Anna Camp, Jimmy Tatro, Michelle Randolph, Ethan Embry, Timothy Simons, and Mark Consuelos round out the cast.
Williamson co-wrote the script with Guy Busick (Scream 2022, Scream VI). William Sherak, James Vanderbilt, and Paul Neinstein produce.
