‘300 Feet Tall’ Trailer – Musical Fantasy Warps Into Psychological Horror [Exclusive]

A surreal confrontation spirals into something far more unnerving in our exclusive trailer for the genre-bending musical pilot “300 Feet Tall.”

Using its musical framework as a conduit into the psyche, the series blends drama, dark fantasy, and psychological horror.

Sonja O’Hara (Mid-Century), Mark St. Cyr (The Menu), Drew Moerlein (V/H/S), and newcomer Colette Goodman star.

The story follows Mika (O’Hara), a woman pushed to the brink by her unraveling life and combative partner, Glenn (St. Cyr). When she’s suddenly transported to a mythological landscape, Mika comes face-to-face with her younger self (Goodman) — a child still trapped in an abusive home.

As past and present collide, Mika is forced to relive the formative trauma that shaped her, including the abuse inflicted by Samson (Moerlein).

Set against the towering isolation of Sequoia National Park, the pilot juxtaposes sweeping natural beauty with the claustrophobia of lived trauma, creating a world where emotional wounds manifest in haunting ways.

“300 Feet Tall” is created and directed by singer-songwriter Michelle Vezilj, whose work draws inspiration from classic musicals like The Wizard of Oz and The Sound of Music but filters them through a darker, more introspective lens.

“’300 Feet Tall’ dives into the emotions we try hardest to bury,” says Vezilj. “There’s something deeply unsettling, and yet strangely validating, about watching characters confront the most shameful parts of themselves.”

Moerlein produces via his Moerlein Entertainment alongside Vezilj, Kathy Sue Holtorf, and Ramfis Myrthil. Kelly Price serves as executive producer.

“300 Feet Tall” will be shopped to networks and streamers this summer. Stay tuned for more as it develops.
