[Exclusive] Delve Into ‘My Cannibal Family’ With Early Gamescom Gameplay Footage [Watch]

Those wanting to see Raw Fury and developer Wolf & Wood’s upcoming cannibalistic theme park sim My Cannibal Family in action can do so now with this new exclusive gameplay footage. This 16 minutes of footage gives players a look at the upcoming Gamescom demo of My Cannibal Family, captured by the devteam.

The footage provides a look an early-game park setup, highlighting gameplay from both the daytime and nighttime stages of the core gameplay loop. Highlighting many of the key features of the game, including stealth movement/attacks, park attractions, guest harvesting, resource gathering, park building, trap placement, combat, equipment, family management, and upgrade selection.

For those who missed the announcement earlier this year, My Cannibal Family casts you as having been left for dead after being stuffed into a drum of glowing goo, only to emerge a mutated monster with an insatiable new appetite. What better excuse than to build a twisted theme park to lure visitors to a gruesome death? Gather resources and construct attractions, then use traps and stealth to harvest guests within a deadly sandbox of their own.

Playing solo or with friends in online co-op multiplayer for up to four players – or via split-screen multiplayer for two players – My Cannibal Family provides a modular building system for players to construct the horror theme park of nightmares. The game will include six unlockable parks, over 20 attractions, and plenty of slasher favourites when it comes to weapons, tools and equipment.

Creative building tools allow for the development of a truly unique horror theme park filled with attractions, decorations and deadly traps. Watch the park grow from a simple wooden shack into a sprawling labyrinth of entertainment and gore.

Your hideous mutant faces terrify visitors, so attractions, signage and devious structures become key to leading guests into the shadows. Work behind the curtain, wait for the perfect moment, then strike! Eliminate guests using a range of tools, weapons and traps, then bag up the meat for later use. If spotted, victims may fight back or flee, so don’t let them escape. Stored bodies can feed a growing brood of mutants, while also unlocking new traps, tools and weapons… or even gestating new family members.

My Cannibal Family is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam next year. Those attending Gamescom this year can hit up the Raw Fury booth from August 26th to August 30th at aisle B-21 in Hall 10.1 to check out the demo.
