Synapse Films’ official website now has pre-order listings for ‘movie only’ Blu-ray and DVD releases of Lamberto Bava’s Demons and Demons 2, reports DVD Active. Each will be released November 11, almost exactly a year after the Limited Edition Steelbook versions were first made available.
Says the site, these will have basically none of the exclusive extras available on the LEs, but both releases will include High-Definition 1080p transfers (SD anamorphic in the case of the DVD versions, naturally) taken from original vault materials in the 1.66:1 aspect ratio, featuring all-new color correction. Demons will contain both the international English stereo language soundtrack, as well as the U.S. Mono English alternate dub soundtrack, while Demons 2 will include only the international English language stereo track. Both movies will also feature their original U.S. theatrical trailers and newly-translated English SDH subtitles.
