New to Blu-ray

Each week here at Bloody Disgusting we like to highlight some of the new Blu-ray releases hitting shelves across the world. Please note that this isn’t every release for the week, just a few of the ones that jumped out at us.

First week of October is here and it’s a pretty good week of releases! Stateside we have some fun stuff with Daughter of Dracula and The Purge: Election Year leading the way for me. The Ghost and Mr. Chicken is also a fun, unexpected release. The real exciting stuff this week comes from overseas, however. Australia has a number of awesome releases, all of which are listed as Region B but are most likely region free. The Man from Hong Kong and Scream of Fear are absolute musts for me this week. Germany is also getting in on the fun this week with What Have They Done to Your Daughters? from Camera Obscura catching my eye. I know nothing about this film, but I’ve loved ever release from Camera Obscura thus far. Time to drain those bank accounts!
