George Miller Talks ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ “Blood and Chrome” Edition

Published

on

The black-and-white version of Mad Max: Fury Road (review), hailed as the “Blood and Chrome” edition, is coming to home video on December 6th. To celebrate the release of what George Miller calls “…the best version of the movie,” a behind-the-scenes clip of the director talking about the upcoming edition has been put online. It’s great to see Miller, who obviously has a lot of energy and passion still inside for a film that has already been released, finding ways to enhance the viewing experience for himself and others.

A apocalyptic story set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, and most everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life. Within this world exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order. There’s Max, a man of action and a man of few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos. And Furiosa, a woman of action and a woman who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland.

Mad Max: Fury Road starred Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron.

The teenagers soon understand what evil they’ve released as they are overcome with an assortment of horrific experiences. With fiendish followers invading suburbia, it’s now up to the kids to discover the secret that can lock The Gate forever . . . if it’s not too late.
