‘The Lawnmower Man’ Gets 4K Release on Blu-ray
A world where the normal course of events could suddenly turn inside out — the imaginary becomes real, and reality is all in your mind.
Loyal fans of visionary filmmaker Brett Leonard (Virtuosity, Hideaway) know well the enthralling sci-fi action horror from his 1992 cult classic The Lawnmower Man, starring Jeff Fahey (Machete) and Pierce Brosnan (The Son), with Jenny Wright (Near Dark) and Geoffrey Lewis (The Devil’s Rejects).
On June 20, 2017, Scream Factory Home Entertainment is proud to present The Lawnmower Man Collector’s Edition. Available for the first time on Blu-ray, this definitive collector’s edition release boasts The Director’s Cut, theatrical cut, and revealing extras. A must-have for movie collectors, sci-fi enthusiasts, and loyal fans, The Lawnmower Man Collector’s Edition 2-Disc Blu-ray set also includes a collectible slipcover featuring newly rendered artwork and a reversible cover wrap featuring original theatrical key art.
Dr. Lawrence Angelo (Pierce Brosnan) is a brilliant scientist obsessed with perfecting virtual reality software. When his experiments on animals fail, he finds the ideal substitute – Jobe Smith (Jeff Fahey), a slow-witted gardener. Dr. Angelo’s goal is to benefit his human guinea pig and ultimately mankind itself, but evil lurks the guise of “the Shop,” a shadowy group that seeks to use the technology to create an invincible war machine. When the experiments change the simple Jobe into a superhuman being, the stage is set for a Jekyll-and-Hyde struggle for the control of Jobe’s mind and the future of the world.

Horror Romance ‘Leviticus’ Heads Home to Digital Next Week
After releasing in theaters last month, NEON announced today that horror romance Leviticus will arrive on digital platforms to rent or own beginning July 28, followed by a Blu-ray/4K Ultra HD Combo and DVD release on September 8, 2026.
Leviticus marks the feature debut by writer/director Adrian Chiarella.
Joe Bird (Talk to Me) and Stacy Clausen play star-crossed teenage boys who must escape a violent entity that takes the form of the person they desire most — each other.
Mia Wasikowska (Crimson Peak), Jeremy Blewitt, Ewen Leslie (The Nightingale), and Davida McKenzie (Silent Night) round out the cast of horror movie Leviticus.
“Leviticus is a strong debut with an incisive voice at the helm,” I wrote in my review out of Sundance. “We care deeply about Naim and Ryan’s survival, making Leviticus a tense, atmospheric, and claustrophobic vision of young love in a hateful world.”
“Leviticus is the perfect title for writer-director Adrian Chiarella‘s powerful feature debut,” Meagan’s review explains, “a searing anthem against the corrosive nature of fear and bigotry.”
The physical media release comes packed with exclusive bonus features, the home entertainment release includes a feature commentary with Adrian Chiarella, interviews with Chiarella, Stacy Clausen, and Joe Bird, an exclusive behind-the-scenes featurette, and the official trailer.
Look for Leviticus on Digital next week, and check out the box art for September’s Blu-ray release this September.
