Vega Baby Hears the ‘Devil’s Whisper’
Vega Baby Releasing has acquired North America rights to Adam Ripp’s supernatural thriller Devil’s Whisper ahead of its June 10 premiere at the Dances With Films festival in Hollywood, reports Variety.
Vega Baby is planning a multiplatform fall release through its multi-year agreement with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
Inspired by true events, Devil’s Whisper tells the story of a 15-year-old who aspires to be a Catholic priest. When he discovers a mysterious box passed down from his grandparents, he unwittingly unleashes a demonic spirit bent on possessing him — and must find a way to defeat the demon, which has been tormenting children since the dawn of man, before it destroys him and everyone he loves.
Luca Oriel, whose credits include “Shameless,” stars. The cast includes Tessie Santiago, Marcos Ferraez, Rick Ravanello, Alison Fernandez, Coy Stewart, Jasper Polish, Justin Tinucci, Benjamin A. Hoyt and Luna Maya.
Financed by MD Pictures, the film was directed by Ripp from a screenplay by Oliver Robins and Paul Todisco based upon a story by Ripp, Robins and Todisco. The film was produced by Manoj Punjabi, Mark Stolaroff, Liam Finn and Ripp.
After releasing in theaters last month, NEON announced today that horror romance Leviticus will arrive on digital platforms to rent or own beginning July 28, followed by a Blu-ray/4K Ultra HD Combo and DVD release on September 8, 2026.
Leviticus marks the feature debut by writer/director Adrian Chiarella.
Joe Bird (Talk to Me) and Stacy Clausen play star-crossed teenage boys who must escape a violent entity that takes the form of the person they desire most — each other.
Mia Wasikowska (Crimson Peak), Jeremy Blewitt, Ewen Leslie (The Nightingale), and Davida McKenzie (Silent Night) round out the cast of horror movie Leviticus.
“Leviticus is a strong debut with an incisive voice at the helm,” I wrote in my review out of Sundance. “We care deeply about Naim and Ryan’s survival, making Leviticus a tense, atmospheric, and claustrophobic vision of young love in a hateful world.”

The physical media release comes packed with exclusive bonus features, the home entertainment release includes a feature commentary with Adrian Chiarella, interviews with Chiarella, Stacy Clausen, and Joe Bird, an exclusive behind-the-scenes featurette, and the official trailer.
