Scream Factory Digs Up 1992 Robert Englund Film ‘Dance Macabre’

Published

When the curtain rises, the terror begins.

In 1992, just one year after Freddy Krueger was “killed off” in Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare, Robert Englund starred in director Greydon Clark’s Dance Macabre, which is headed to Blu-ray for the very first time early next year.

Scream Factory teased the forthcoming release over on their Facebook page today, providing the art and first details. It’ll arrive on January 23, 2018.

“Michelle Zeitlin stars as Jessica, an American ballerina who reluctantly enrolls in a Russian dance academy, where she meets the charismatic choreographer Anthony (Englund). A dead ringer for Anthony’s long dead lover, Jessica becomes Anthony’s favorite student – and his personal obsession. But what should be the chance of a lifetime for Jessica becomes a living nightmare, as each of her fellow dances is brutally murdered.”

Extras are still in progress and will be announced at a later date.
