The beginnings of what would become films such as The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and House of 1000 Corpses can be found in James Whale’s The Old Dark House, a highly unique 1932 gem that has been out of print on home video for quite some time now.
As we recently learned, Cohen Media Group will be releasing a 4K restoration of the Boris Karloff-starring film on Blu-ray this coming October. The Blu-ray, now available for pre-order, is set to be released on October 24. In addition, the restoration will arrive in select theaters on October 6.
