Arrow Video Bringing Wes Craven’s ‘Last House on the Left’ to Blu-ray!

Published

Before becoming a household name thanks to A Nightmare on Elm Street, Wes Craven made the much smaller (and way more disturbing) The Last House on The Left back in 1972. The film was produced by Sean Cunningham, who went on to direct Friday the 13th, so it’s needless to say an important film to the entire history of horror.

Screen Anarchy reports today that The Last House on the Left is headed to Arrow Video Blu-ray, with the special edition release coming our way this May.

To celebrate, May’s Texas Frightmare will have two of the film’s stars in attendance,” the site also notes. “Jeramie Rain and Marc Sheffler, who play Sadie and Junior Stillo from Krug’s gang of ruthless killers, will be in attendance to support the release.”

Check out the cover art below and expect full details on Arrow’s FB this Friday.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones.
