Ross Lynch Starring ‘My Friend Dahmer’ Heads to Your Home in March

Disney Channel’s Ross Lynch completely transforms in director Marc Meyers’ My Friend Dahmer, a chilling look at the high school years of a real-life serial killer.

Joe wrote up his thoughts on the film yesterday, calling it “a straight-forward, no-frills look at what one of America’s most notorious serial killers was like in high school.”

My Friend Dahmer will be releasing March 5 on DVD and Blu-ray.

In the film…

“Jeff Dahmer (Disney Channel’s Ross Lynch) is an awkward teenager struggling to make it through high school with a family life in ruins. He collects roadkill, fixates on a neighborhood jogger (Vincent Kartheiser, “Mad Men”), and copes with his unstable mother (Anne Heche) and well-intentioned father (Dallas Roberts). He begins to act out at school, and his goofball antics win over a group of band-nerds who form The Dahmer Fan Club, headed by Derf Backderf (Alex Wolff, Nickelodeon’s “The Naked Brothers Band”). But this camaraderie can’t mask his growing depravity. Approaching graduation, Jeff spirals further out of control, inching ever closer to madness.”

One of my personal favorite horror movies of all time, 1987’s gateway horror classic The Gate is opening back up on May 14 with a brand new Blu-ray SteelBook release from Lionsgate!

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones.
