[Updated] “Ash vs. Evil Dead” Getting a Complete Series Blu-ray Set Just in Time for Halloween

Published

on

It’s a huge bummer that “Ash vs. Evil Dead” ended so soon that only three seasons is the series’ complete collection, but the truth is we’re just happy it even lasted as long as it did. The Starz series was nothing short of a gift to Evil Dead fans, bringing Bruce Campbell back as Ash and delivering three seasons of gruesome gore and gut-busting insanity.

Three seasons is way better than none, am I right?

Just in time for Halloween, Starz/Anchor Bay will be releasing “Ash vs. Evil Dead”: The Complete Collection on Blu-ray + Digital, being unleashed on October 16, 2018.

“Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell), the chainsaw-wielding, wisecracking antihero of the legendary The Evil Dead films, is back for more gore-filled adventure in this complete 30-episode collection of the “Ash vs Evil Dead” TV series. Follow Ash’s journey as he returns home to Elk Grove, Michigan, meets his long-lost daughter, and unites with former enemy Ruby (Lucy Lawless) and fellow demon fighters Pablo (Ray Santiago) and Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) for a final blood-splattering stand to save the world!”

The 6-disc set is currently selling for $44.59 over on Amazon.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones. The teenagers soon understand what evil they’ve released as they are overcome with an assortment of horrific experiences. With fiendish followers invading suburbia, it’s now up to the kids to discover the secret that can lock The Gate forever . . . if it’s not too late.
