See An Alternate Opening and Ending to Eli Roth’s ‘The House With a Clock In Its Walls’ On Home Video

DVD Active reports that Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the Blu-ray Combo Pack (BD/DVD/Digital HD), 4K Ultra HD (4K UHD/BD/Digital HD), and DVD releases of the Eli Roth-directed The House With a Clock In Its Walls. The special features are jam-packed and include an alternate opening and ending to the film.

In the film:

“Lewis Barnavelt (Owen Vaccaro) goes to live with his Uncle Jonathan (Jack Black) in a creaky and creepy mansion with an eerie tick-tocking heart. But when Lewis soon finds out he’s in the presence of magic practiced by his uncle and neighbor Mrs. Zimmerman (Cate Blanchett), his new town’s dreary aura boosts to life in an exciting and dangerous way.”

Blu-ray exclusive extras will include:

Gateway Horror Classic ‘The Gate’ Returns to Life With Blu-ray SteelBook in May

One of my personal favorite horror movies of all time, 1987’s gateway horror classic The Gate is opening back up on May 14 with a brand new Blu-ray SteelBook release from Lionsgate!

The new release will feature fresh SteelBook artwork from Vance Kelly, seen below.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones.
