A gory throwback slasher, Damien Leone’s Terrifier would certainly be right at home on VHS, and for a very limited time, you soon will be able to pick up a copy on the (un)dead format!
Announced by Broke Horror Fan today, the next film in the company’s Broke Horror Fan Presents line of officially licensed VHS tapes is Art the Clown’s solo outing, Terrifier!
Terrifier will be released on VHS next Friday, March 29, at 12pm EST/9am PST exclusively from WitterEntertainment.com.
The site details, “There will be two covers to choose from, each housed in black clamshell cases. The standard edition, with a first pressing of 150, features cover art by Vasilis Zikos, while the variant, limited to 50, features cover art by Steve McGinnis (Fangoria).
“Each copy will include a letter from writer-director Damien Leone, an exclusive introduction by Art the Clown actor David Howard Thornton, and special features after the movie.”
For optimal viewing, the film has been cropped from its original aspect ratio to 4:3 full frame.
