‘Ghostbusters’ 1 & 2 Steelbook Collection On the Way With Footage Long Lost and Never Seen!

As we reported back in 2017, Ghost Corps located some previously unreleased scenes from the original Ghostbusters, and now that footage is headed to home video in a new set!

The “Fort Detmerring Ghost” scene is without question the most sought-after relic in the world of Ghostbusters; the deleted scene, never made available to the public, sees Ray Stantz having a sexual encounter with a ghost while dressed in period attire. A small snippet of the scene made its way into a montage sequence, but the full scene has never before been seen.

And yes, it has been located for this Steelbook 4K/Blu-ray release, EW reports today!

Gateway Horror Classic ‘The Gate’ Returns to Life With Blu-ray SteelBook in May

One of my personal favorite horror movies of all time, 1987’s gateway horror classic The Gate is opening back up on May 14 with a brand new Blu-ray SteelBook release from Lionsgate!

The new release will feature fresh SteelBook artwork from Vance Kelly, seen below.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones. Instead, they unearth The Gate — an underground chamber of terrifying demonic evil. The teenagers soon understand what evil they’ve released as they are overcome with an assortment of horrific experiences.
