Writer Todd Farmer and director Patrick Lussier, who collaborated on My Bloody Valentine 3D and Drive Angry, reteamed on Trick, a brand new Halloween-themed horror film that will now arrive on DVD and Blu-ray December 17, 2019, via RLJE Films.
The home video release will include the following special feature: “The Making of Trick Featuring Interviews with the Cast and Crew.”
The film stars Omar Epps in the main role of Detective Mike Denver, a man obsessed with a killer – named Trick Weaver – who has eluded him.
I spoke with Lussier back in May about Trick where he revealed some details about the film’s slasher, Trick Weaver, who kills as performance art.
Unfortunately, Meagan wasn’t a fan, and wrote in her review that the film “offers up no Halloween treats.”
