The Entire ‘Tremors’ Franchise is Now Streaming on Netflix!
Ring in the New Year with Burt Gummer and the Graboids!
If you don’t already own the Complete Collection set, you’ll be happy to hear today that Netflix has kicked off 2020 by putting the entire Tremors film franchise up for instant streaming!
Yes, that includes all six Michael Gross-starring Tremors films to date, from 1990’s original creature feature classic straight through 2018’s Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell.
- Tremors
- Tremors 2: Aftershocks
- Tremors 3: Back to Perfection
- Tremors 4: The Legend Begins
- Tremors 5: Bloodlines
- Tremors 6: A Cold Day in Hell
The franchise went direct-to-video with its awesome second installment and hasn’t been back to theaters since, with the sequels arriving in 1996, 2001, 2004, 2015 and 2018.
Tremors 4: The Legend Begins was actually an 1889-set *prequel*, it’s important to note, with Michael Gross playing the role of Hiram Gummer, Burt Gummer’s great-grandfather.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones. Instead, they unearth The Gate — an underground chamber of terrifying demonic evil. The teenagers soon understand what evil they’ve released as they are overcome with an assortment of horrific experiences. With fiendish followers invading suburbia, it’s now up to the kids to discover the secret that can lock The Gate forever . . . if it’s not too late.
If you’ve never seen The Gate, it’s now streaming on Prime Video and Tubi.
