‘Idle Hands’ Coming to Collector’s Edition Blu-ray from Scream Factory

Published

on

Announced today, Rodman Flender’s 90s horror-comedy Idle Hands is getting a collector’s edition Blu-ray from Scream Factory, set for release on May 12th, 2020!

The newly commissioned and director-approved artwork you see pictured below comes from artist Laz Marquez. Reverse side of the wrap will feature original theatrical artwork.

Scream Factory advertises that this will be the film’s “definitive” Blu-ray release, and notes that “New extras are in progress and will be announced on a later date.”

“Director Rodman Flender is very much on board and our production team is working hard to secure cast & more,” the company also notes, teasing the bonus contents.

Idle Hands starred Devon Sawa as a teenager whose right hand becomes possessed with murderous intent. Seth Green, Jessica Alba, Elden Henson and Vivica A. Fox also starred.

UPDATE: Sawa has seemingly confirmed that he’ll be providing a commentary track!

Writer in the horror community since 2008. Editor in Chief of Bloody Disgusting. Owns Eli Roth's prop corpse from Piranha 3D. Has four awesome cats. Still plays with toys.

The teenagers soon understand what evil they’ve released as they are overcome with an assortment of horrific experiences. With fiendish followers invading suburbia, it’s now up to the kids to discover the secret that can lock The Gate forever . . . if it’s not too late.
