Artsploitation Films has acquired The Dead Ones and Dead Dicks with plans to release later this summer on DVD/Blu-ray and VOD/Streaming, Bloody Disgusting learned.
Director Jeremy Kasten (All Souls Day: Dia de los Muertos, The Thirst, The Wizard of Gore, The Theatre Bizarre, The Profane Exhibit) is back with his latest horror offering, The Dead Ones, which stars Sarah Harper, Brandon Thane Wilson, Katie Foster, Torey Garza, Clare Kramer, and Muse Watson.

“For four outcast teens, summer detention means being assigned to clean their high school after a horrific incident. But they are not alone; a macabre gang wearing guises of The Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse – Famine, Pestilence, War and Death – has locked them inside and is hunting them through the school’s ravaged hallways. As the four students battle to survive, each must confront the supernatural echoes of past traumas they have struggled to forget…and may be condemned to relive.”
In the sci-fi thriller Dead Dicks, a woman discovers that her brother’s body has been cloned by a supernatural entity growing in his bedroom.
Starring Matt Keyes (Dark Phoenix), Heston Horwin (Rock Steady Row) and Jillian Harris, Dead Dicks was written, produced and directed by Chris Bavota and Lee Paula Springer under production banner Postal Code Films.
The film won the audience award for best Canadian feature at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal. It also screened at Grimmfest in Manchester, UK, Night Visions in Helsinki and the Leeds International Film Festival.
