‘Brahms: The Boy II’ Getting a Premium VOD Release This Friday

BRAHMS: The Boy II

After being forced out of theaters early, STXfilms and Lakeshore Entertainment have announced they will release Brahms: The Boy II on Friday, April 3 for electronic sell-thru on all premium platforms at the suggested retail price of only $9.99.

Released into theaters in February, William Brent Bell‘s lackluster sequel only managed to scare up $20 million worldwide before the coronavirus pandemic forced worldwide theatrical closings. The premium release follows in the footsteps of films like Universal’s The Invisible Man and The Hunt.

For those wanting a physical copy, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will bring The Boy II to Blu-ray on May 19th with an alternate ending and deleted scenes.

In the film…

Unaware of the terrifying history of Heelshire Mansion, a young family moves into the estate, where their young son soon makes an unsettling new friend, an eerily life-like doll he calls Brahms.

Katie Holmes stars in STX Entertainment’s sequel with Owain YeomanChristopher Convery, and Ralph Ineson.
