Vinegar Syndrome’s “Halfway to Black Friday” Sale is Live; New Arrivals Include ‘Blood Games’ and ‘The Severed Arm’

Vinegar Syndrome‘s annual “Halfway to Black Friday” sale just went live this morning, and you have through Monday, May 25th at 11:59pm EST to snatch up some killer titles.

For starters, Vinegar Syndrome has slashed the prices on nearly everything on their website, with some titles currently selling for 50% off their original prices. Recent releases include movies such as Dolly Dearest, Forgotten Gialli: Volume 1, Tammy and the T-Rex and Spookies, and there’s no shortage of past releases that are still available and waiting to be discovered.

Amityville: The Cursed Collection, for example, which includes four of the Amityville Horror sequels, has been slashed from $79.98 all the way down to $39.99 through the weekend.

Secret “Halfway to Black Friday” releases Blood Games and The Severed Arm are also now available starting today, along with other new releases including L.A. Wars, Dr. Jekyll’s Dungeon of Death, The Immortalizer and Patty Hearst. Brand new limited slipcovers, meanwhile, are being offered up for Night Train to Terror, Punk Vacation, Evils of the Night and Psychic Killer.

Gateway Horror Classic ‘The Gate’ Returns to Life With Blu-ray SteelBook in May

One of my personal favorite horror movies of all time, 1987’s gateway horror classic The Gate is opening back up on May 14 with a brand new Blu-ray SteelBook release from Lionsgate!

The new release will feature fresh SteelBook artwork from Vance Kelly, seen below.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones.
