‘Tales from the Hood 3’ is Coming Soon and It’s Been Rated “R”

Published

on

We had reported last summer that a third Tales from the Hood movie was in the works, coming in the wake of 1995’s anthology and its direct-to-video sequel from 2018. We had learned that the film would be releasing this year in celebration of the original movie’s 25th anniversary, and that indeed looks to be the case as the MPAA rating has arrived this week.

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment’s Tales from the Hood 3 has been rated “R” for “Horror violence, disturbing images, sexual content, and language including racial epithets.”

According to IMDb, Rusty Cundieff and Darin Scott returned to write/direct.

The film’s cast listing, it’s interesting to note, includes horror legend Tony Todd!

No plot details are available at this time. Stay tuned.
