Brand New Movie ‘Tremors: Shrieker Island’ is Already Streaming on Netflix!

Michael Gross is again back as Burt Gummer in brand new direct-to-video sequel Tremors: Shrieker Island, which just hit DVD, Blu-ray and VOD today, Tuesday, October 20th.

Additionally, we’ve learned that Shrieker Island is also already streaming on Netflix! The previous sequel, A Cold Day in Hell, similarly hit Netflix the same day as DVD/Blu/VOD.

Both A Cold Day in Hell and Shrieker Island can currently be found on Netflix.

In the island-set seventh movie…

“When a nature preserve in the Solomon Islands is infiltrated by Graboids, Ass Blasters, and Shriekers, two of the preserve’s top scientists recruit Burt Gummer (Michael Gross), monster hunter extraordinaire, to eradicate the infestation. While there, Burt picks up a potential new protégé and encounters lost love.”

The cast also includes Richard BrakeJon HederCaroline Langrishe, Jackie Cruz, Cassie Clare, Sahajak Boonthanakit, Matthew Douglas, Randy Kalsi, Bear Williams, David Assavanon, Boonma Lamphon, Aukrawut Rojaunawat, Owen Macrae, Iris Park and Mikey Black.

Brian Brightly wrote the screenplay with Universal Home Entertainment regular Don Michael Paul returning to direct. He previously got behind the camera for Tremors 5: Bloodlines and 2018’s Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell, as well as several other Universal home video titles.

Gateway Horror Classic ‘The Gate’ Returns to Life With Blu-ray SteelBook in May

One of my personal favorite horror movies of all time, 1987’s gateway horror classic The Gate is opening back up on May 14 with a brand new Blu-ray SteelBook release from Lionsgate!

The new release will feature fresh SteelBook artwork from Vance Kelly, seen below.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones.
