Vinegar Syndrome Teases Their First 3D Blu-ray and More for Next Week’s Black Friday Sale
We’re now just one week away from home video label Vinegar Syndrome‘s annual Black Friday sale, and the company has provided us with some exciting little teasers today.
For starters, the sale will slash the prices of pretty much Vinegar Syndrome’s entire catalogue by 50%, with brand new releases The Beastmaster, Fade to Black and Forgotten Gialli: Volume #2 being offered up as part of the sale. Additionally, there will be two surprise release titles, teased today as being “Two never-on-Blu 80s horror (or slasher) treats.”
One of those releases will mark Vinegar Syndrome’s first-ever 3D Blu-ray!
The company also teases, “New releases, including a lost-film surprise Blu, from our friends at AGFA, as well as the first US release from our latest partner label, France’s Pulse Video, who will be bestowing on American audiences their comprehensive edition of Claude Mulot’s La Femme-Objet! Plenty of new merch, including one pretty amazing and super limited item.”
They also make sure to note today, “Just as important, we can’t stress enough that the Black Friday Sale is your ONLY opportunity to become a 2021 yearly subscriber!”
The Black Friday sale runs from November 27-30th.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones. Instead, they unearth The Gate — an underground chamber of terrifying demonic evil. The teenagers soon understand what evil they’ve released as they are overcome with an assortment of horrific experiences. With fiendish followers invading suburbia, it’s now up to the kids to discover the secret that can lock The Gate forever . . . if it’s not too late.
If you’ve never seen The Gate, it’s now streaming on Prime Video and Tubi.
