The Disney+ “HallowStream” Lineup Includes “Muppets Haunted Mansion” and R.L. Stine’s “Just Beyond”!

The Muppets are headed into the Haunted Mansion in the upcoming Disney+ special Muppets Haunted Mansion, a spooky treat that’s headed our way on the road to Halloween.

Today we’ve learned that the Halloween special will premiere on October 8!

Deadline details, “The Muppets’ first-ever Halloween special, Muppets Haunted Mansion will feature the Muppets cast, celebrity cameos and new music and spooky amusement for families to enjoy later this fall. Muppets Haunted Mansion will take place on Halloween night, when Gonzo is challenged to spend one night in The Haunted Mansion.”

“Muppets Haunted Mansion” is part of the Disney+ “HallowStream” lineup, which also includes LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales, Under Wraps, and R.L. Stine’s “Just Beyond.”

Under Wraps, a remake of the Disney Channel Original Movie from the 1990s, premieres on October 8, while R.L. Stine’s “Just Beyond” premieres its entire season on October 13.

One of my personal favorite horror movies of all time, 1987’s gateway horror classic The Gate is opening back up on May 14 with a brand new Blu-ray SteelBook release from Lionsgate!

The new release will feature fresh SteelBook artwork from Vance Kelly, seen below.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones.
