Broke Horror Fan Presents ‘V/H/S/94’ and ‘V/H/S/99’ on Limited Edition VHS; Available Now!
The Bloody Disgusting-produced Shudder Original hits V/H/S/94 and V/H/S/99 are now available on limited edition VHS from Broke Horror Fan and Witter Entertainment!
This is the first time Broke Horror Fan has brought last year’s V/H/S/99 to VHS, while V/H/S/94 will be returning to VHS with a brand new slipcase edition.
Broke Horror Fan explains, “V/H/S/94 returns to VHS with a new slipcase edition and a restock of the standard clamshell case. A small quantity of leftover variant clamshells and big box editions from the first pressing are also available while supplies last.”
V/H/S/94 includes a letter from writer-director Simon Barrett. And stay tuned after the movie for a special feature: “Behind the Scenes of V/H/S/94” featurette.
V/H/S/99 arrives on VHS with two variants: a standard slipcase edition with art by Creepy Duck Design and a big box variant with artwork TBA and a blue VHS tape (limited to 50).
It includes an exclusive introduction by writer-director Tyler MacIntyre.
For optimal VHS viewing, the films have been cropped from their original aspect ratio to 4:3 full frame. Both are officially licensed from RLJE Films/Shudder.

‘Hokum’ Heads Home to Digital Tomorrow Ahead of Physical Media Release in August
After scaring up a strong theatrical run, Oddity director Damian McCarthy’s Hokum heads home to Digital this week.
Settle in for a spooky supernatural chiller as Hokum arrives on all Digital platforms to rent or own beginning June 2, followed by a Blu-ray/4K Ultra HD Combo and DVD release on August 11, 2026.
Adam Scott (“Severance”) stars in Hokum as reclusive novelist Ohm Bauman. When he retreats to a remote Irish inn to scatter his parents’ ashes, the staff’s tales of an ancient witch haunting the honeymoon suite take hold of his mind. Disturbing visions and a shocking disappearance draw Ohm into a nightmarish confrontation with the darkest corners of his past.
Peter Coonan (“The Alienist: Angel of Darkness”), David Wilmot (“Station Eleven”), Florence Ordesh (“Departure”), Michael Patric (“Frontier”), Will O’Connell (“Game of Thrones”), Brendan Conroy (“Bodkin”), and Austin Amelio (“The Walking Dead”) also star.

I wrote in my review for Bloody Disgusting, “A quaint Irish hotel with a deeply haunted history awaits an American writer in McCarthy’s third outing, continuing his streak for folkloric tales of supernatural karma and spine-tingling terror with a dark sense of humor.”
What’s next from Damian McCarthy? He’s currently writing a haunted house movie, but recent comments suggest he may be moving into other genres beyond that upcoming project.
