‘Jason Goes to Hell’ Documentary ‘Hearts of Darkness’ Comes Home in April

Go behind the mask of one of horror’s most infamous sequels with Hearts of Darkness: The Making of The Final Friday.

The Jason Goes to Hell documentary will be released on Blu-ray April 14 via Red Shirt Pictures. Limited to 1,500, the set is available for $39.95 exclusively from Synapse Films.

Exploring the story of how a 23-year-old film student got the reins of horror’s biggest franchise with the ninth installment in the Friday the 13th franchise, production on the doc began back in 2019 and features never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage.
